Thanks for coming out to last weeks talk with Max Blumenthal, author of the new book "Goliath: Life and Loathing in Greater Israel."We heard about African refugees in Israel, discussed racism and discrimination in Palestine and Israel, and feasted on delicious kabobs. Thanks to Max Blumenthal for coming and look out for our next event!
The Students for Peace and Justice in Palestine at the University of Virginia meets regularly with the purpose of disseminating information about the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and about Palestinian culture. We are active in solidarity with larger movements that stand for the rights of those involved in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, and also work to bring awareness of such movements to the UVA community.
