The Students for Peace and Justice in Palestine at the University of Virginia meets regularly with the purpose of disseminating information about the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and about Palestinian culture.
We are active in solidarity with larger movements that stand for the rights of those involved in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, and also work to bring awareness of such movements to the UVA community.
The Students for Peace and Justice in Palestine hosted
investigative reporter Max Blumenthal in Minor Hall Wednesday night.
Blumenthal spoke on Zionism and Israel’s mistreatment of Palestinians,
emphasizing his talk was not “anti Israel” but “an event for Palestinian
Justice and equal rights.”
